Serger Basics In this class you will learn to operate your serger as well as experience different types of fabric. All models welcomed! Please make sure your serger is in good working order. Seven years in the closet won't cut it! Bring your machine and all accessories, including the manual, 4 spools of serger thread & scissors. 3 hour class, 10 AM to 1PM. Bio: Lucy has sixty years of sewing experience. First taught by her mom who worked for designers in Beverly Hills, then as an adlt learned on her own with help here and there from her mom and attending classes. She is completely self-taught on the serger and cover stitch machines. Teaching sergers started 21 years ago. She has also taught at the Junior College level, and was contracted with American & Efird testing threads, creating promo items and expo samples.
